Biography
Joseph Després was born on 30 Mar 1869 and baptized the next day in Cocagne, New Brunswick, the son of Pascal Després and Isabelle Melanson.[1][2]
Joseph married Amanda Sutton, probably about 1892.
In the 1901 census Joseph, age 32, carpenter, was the head of household in Dundas, Kent, New Brunswick.[3]
He passed away on 7 Sep 1947 in Cocagne.[4] The informant on his death record was his son Lucien.
