Biography
Margueritte, the daughter of Antoine Desjardins and Marie-Thérèse Lemire, was born 26 September 1752 in Châteauguay and baptized two days later. The Saint Joachim parish register identifies her as "Margueritte née du vingt six du présent mois fille de Jardin dit Zacharie et de Therèse Lemire.” Her godparents were Michel Boisel & Margueritte Lemire. Marguerite died at the age of one month and was buried 28 October 1752: "Margueritte Zacharie agée d'environ un mois en presence de Pierre Huber & de Joachim Primot."[1]
