Margaret Crombie Denny was born about 1924 in Scotland. She married Howe Thomson 17 Jan 1945 in Dunfermline, Scotland. Their first child was born there. Margaret and the baby came to Canada and joined Howe in Edmonton. Margaret was asked to go by the name "Peggy" within the family when she arrived in Canada from Scotland because Howe's sister was also named Margaret. She did not like that. Her mother and sister came from Scotland to Edmonton.
By the time the family moved to Summerland, there were 2 more children. Margaret died there 16 Aug 2001. [1] Her remains were buried in the Memorial Garden of St. Stephen Church, Summerland on 22 Aug 2001. [2]
