Each time you create a new profile the system should come up with any possible matches for you to review. Adding another Gedcom will be a lot of work unless you can figure out how to split the Gedcom or create one by surname only. Something I have never done personally so review this page https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Splitting_a_GEDCOM
I prefer to bring them across one at a time as this enables me to tidy them up on import, I use wikitreeX to do mine https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:WikiTree_X
Explore the following to see if these pages help, the first one is a visual step by step https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Current_GEDCOMpare_Process

I have not entered any information so far because I am finding the Wiki system a little confusing. Any advice will be appreciated. Today, I discovered that there is a member, Bruce Denny. I am fairly certain that we used to exchange emails many years ago and then lost touch. We are both descended from Thomas Ives Denny. Many thanks, Chris
