Ralph was born about 1784 in Ireland. He passed away in Hamptonburgh, Orange County, New York in 1856. The probate petition for Ralph was dated April 9, 1856.

The probate petition dated April 9,1856, names William Dennison as one son. It also names as heirs: "this deponent (William), and Charles Dennison. his children, and children of a deceased son of said deceased whose names are unknown to this deponent and who reside in the county of Oswego and the state of New York - his".

A second probate record dated April 15, 1856, states: "William Dennason of the town of Deerpark in the County of Orange and State of New York, the son, and John Boyd of the town of Hamptonburgh in the county aforesaid, the friend of Ralph Dennason, late of the town of Hamptonburgh aforesaid in the county aforesaid, deceased".

A probate document dated Sep 20, 1856, references the Dennison children in Hannibal, Oswego County, NY by name. The named children are John Dennison and Lucinda Copley's children: "John H. Dennason, Elsie A. Dennason, Samantha C. Dennason".

Finally, a probate document dated Dec 12, 1856 lists Ralph's debts that William is requesting to be paid, totaling $844.56.
