Henry was born in 1937. He is buried in the Gilpin Manor Memorial Park in Elkton, Cecil County, Maryland, USA.

Henry Thomas Denney, Jr., 78, of Elkton, MD died at home on Friday, April 1, 2016. Born in Chester, PA on August 12, 1937, he was the son of the late Henry T. Sr. and Helen Young Denney.

A lifelong resident of Elkton, Mr. Denney retired from General Motors Corporation Wilmington DE in 1990. He was a member of UAW 435, loved to work outdoors in the yard and was an avid Baltimore Ravens fan. He was a good husband, Dad, "Pop", and friend, who had a kind heart.

Survivors include his daughters Lora Zippilli (Steve) and Pamela Thacker (Bryan); grandsons, Henry Webb (Christina) and Bryan Thacker II and a great granddaughter, Autumn Webb.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Denney was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years, Jean Campbell Denney and siblings, Dorothy Gonce and George Denney.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 6, at Hicks Home for Funerals, 103 W. Stockton Street, Elkton, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Interment will follow the service in Gilpin Manor Memorial Park.
