Guillaume was born in 1856.[1]
He was the son of Felix Albert Theodore Delprat and Elisabeth Francina van Santen Kolff
He married Henriëtte Maria Wilhelmina Sophia Jas at 23 on 4 Sep 1879. [2]
In June 1898 Delprat accepted an offer to become assistant general manager of B.H.P. On 3 September he arrived in Adelaide where he was met by the general manager (Sir) Alexander Stewart, whom he succeeded next year. Delprat's wife and five of their seven children arrived in January 1899 and, after a period in Broken Hill, settled in Adelaide from 1904 where they remained until moving to Melbourne in 1913. Delprat himself spent many of these years at Broken Hill. In 1904 he was naturalized.[3]
He passed away in 1937.

DELPRAT, Guillaume Daniel, C.B.E. 1918; b. at Delft, Holland, 1856; son of General Delprat. He had considerable mining experience in Spain, Norway, and Canada before coming to Aust. General Manager of the Broken Hill Proprietary Co. Ltd. from 1899 to 1921, when he retired, and was appointed Consulting Engineer to the Company.

In a codicil to his will, lodged for probate to-day, the late Mr. Guillaume Daniel Delprat, of Nandevllle Crescent, Toorak. former general manager of the B.H. Pty., left his house, "Whitchurch," Florence-street, Armadale, to his chauffeur, William John Allsop, who now lives in the house.
Mr. Delprat, who died on March 15, left £3950 realty and £49,054 personalty, mainly to his widow, two sons and five daughters.
