Biography
Catherine (Dehart) Morgan was born in Appalachia, in North Carolina.
Catherine was born in 1831, in Macon County, North Carolina.[1] [2] She was the daughter of William M. Dehart and Sarah Lovelace Dehart. She passed away in 1891.
Catharine married M. J. Morgan on 8 January 1853 in Macon, North Carolina, United States.[3]
Catherine passed away in 1891 and is buried in Brush Creek Cemetery in Swain County.[4]
Research Notes
There are three little graves in Brush Creek Cemetery with names, but no dates. They read:
- Rebecca, daughter of MJ & C Morgan.[5]
- Perimeter, son of MJ. & C Morgan.[6]
- Sarah, daughter of MJ & C Morgan.[7]
