was born on the 7th of February 1876, the daughter of Jacob Abraham DeFehr and Katharina Wiens.[1]

She emigrated aboard the S. S. Köln, sailing from Bremen, Germany on 4 June 1903, arriving at the Port of Galveston, Texas 27 June 1903. [2] She traveled with her husband, Peter Peters and five daughters.

Margaretha died on the 15th of May 1940 in Chinook.[1] Cause of death was a coronary embolism.[1] She is buried in the Kuper Memorial Cemetery in Chinook, Blaine County, Montana, USA.[3]
