Alice Maud Davison was born in 1882 in Macquarie, Colony of New South Wales, daughter of Jonathan Davison (1840–1906) and Mary Ann Rue (1841–1915).^[1]

Alice (20) married Benjamin Forest Tobin (22) (born in 1880 in Glebe, Colony of New South Wales) in 1903 in Bathurst, New South Wales.^[2] Their children were:

• Elma Winifred Tobin (1905–1976)
• Leslie Forest Tobin (1908–1978)

Alice died on July 31, 1968 in Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia, aged 85.^[3] She is commemorated at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland, Sutherland Shire, New South Wales.^[4]
