Hi Paula, just wanted to let you know that we match on Chromosome #1. All my known relatives who match on Chromosome #1 are descended from James Clemmons, born ca. 1780, Pennsylvania.. He was in Mercer County, Kentucky by 1800 and moved to Barren County [in the area that became Monroe County] by 1802.

Hi Paula,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or special event. Read the goals and tasks of the project and join if it is a good fit.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Hi Again,

You've been a member for about a week so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!

I want to help! Click my name, send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
