Jim:

Also if you could open the descendants of Frank Caffall-146 it would be great. And please also open his brother David Caffall-147 and David's descendants. These are my great uncles who moved down to Louisiana (along with my grandmother). I have quite a bit of detail for them and their descendants that I would like to enter.

Regards--Louis

Hi, Louis,

That's great that you have detail for this branch of the Caffall family! I've opened both Frank Caffall-146 and his descendants and their spouses as well as David Caffall-147 (for whom there are no descendant profiles currently in WikiTree). Please add any detail you have with sources and make any corrections. Glad to meet another Caffall researcher!

Best, James

James:

Please open Frank Benjamin Caffall-146 for editing. I have quite a bit of information on his branch of the Caffall family and would like to add it to his profile. The family name for his wife (Emily-21) needs to be corrected (it was Gilbert).

Thanks--Louis

Hi James,

Can you add me to John H. Lentz (Lentz-158)'s trusted list? I am a direct descendant with years of research for the Lentzes. I just did a major contribution to his profile. Also, can you add me to Samuel Lentz (Lentz-157)'s trusted list, Henry Jackson Lentz's trusted list, and Barbara (Jackson) Lentz's trusted list?

Thanks, Dan

Hi James, We have started a Texas project. It will encompass from the beginning of Texas up to now. I found your article on the Fort Tomlinson Block house in Williamson county, Texas and linked it in to Texas. I thought you might be interested in fleshing out your Block house page or even working on one of the counties of Texas. The only two taken are Hansford and San Patricio, so far. thanks Mary

I have just scanned 73 photos that I received from a Caffall descendant. Most of them are marked, and a few of them I am able to connect to my tree. If anyone is able to identify any of these with 100% certainty and tell me full names, birthdates, parents, etc. so that I can connect them with my tree, I sure would appreciate it. I will be happy to send the originals to anyone who is more closely related to these people than I am. Here is a link to the photos: http://fototime.com/inv/5472A992C66C245

Thanks for any help you might be able to provide. Nancy Evans Kellner

It is very possible that there is a relationship depending where in Norway they came from. I'm very distantly related to the Schoening family and haven't done a lot of research on them.
