Hey Thom, you shared your Ancestry tree with me and I finally found our connection: Thomas J Slay 1759-1840 & Sarah Parker 1763-1834 were my 4th maternal great grandparents. I would love to hear from you... [email address removed] or Ancestry name: Katha Fletcher

How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi Thom

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made 1389 contributions to Wikitree, thank you! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors?

Why don't you stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's already a name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus. They would be happy to get you started.

Again, thanks for volunteering to work on Pre-1700 profiles!

Dorothy, Volunteer Coordinator.
