Biography

Samuel was born in South Carolina in 1834 to John Leroy Davies and Elizabeth Chew Gordan Wilson.

He married Sallie Adams Green. In 1880, the family was living in Fayetteville, Washington, Arkansas.[1]

They were still in Fayetteville in 1910.[2]

Samuel passed away in Arkansas in 1916. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery in Fayetteville, Washington County, Arkansas.[3]

He was a Presbyterian minister.
