Biography
Scott E. Davidson was born on February 6, 1861, in Bond County, Illinois, the son of James Davidson and Susan Crane. Scott Davidson is the maternal grandfather of the 17th White House Press Secretary, Jim Brady.
He later worked as a undertaker,[2] which is somebody providing funeral and embalming services for the dead and their families.
At age 37, he married 22 year old Margaret McGee on December 5, 1897, in Marion, Illinois.[3]
Scott passed away on December 22, 1938, in Odin, Marion, Illinois. He is buried at the Peaceful Valley Cemetery in Odin, Illinois.[4]
