Benjamin was born in 1743, the son of Joseph Davenport and Sarah Ware.[1] He married Sarah Wilson in 1768.[2] Benjamin passed away in 1833, and is buried in Needham, Massachusetts.[3]
Benjamin served during the American Revolution as a Private under Captain Aaron Fuller of Connecticut Militia. - they took part in the Lexington Alarm.[4]
Son of Joseph Davenport, he lived in Newton "nearly opposite the present [1880] poor-house," but died in neighboring Needham.[5]
