Biography

Married Catherine Ferguson.

Neil left the farm to his son Duncan; Duncan was to provide support for his mother Catherine, and keep her in a comfortable manner. Catherine would get a room and a fireplace. His daughters Effie Ann and Isabella would get room and board, and they must help out as they have before. If they married they would get one cow and 6 sheep. Son Angus to be supported while he learns a trade. Peter, when he came of age, would get the woodlot, but until then Duncan could cut wood. His daughter Margaret, wife of John Murchison, could return home if her circumstances should alter. Daughter Catherine, wife of Angus McDougall, received one dollar. Her husband Angus was an executor of the will. ^[1]
