Nathan, you are correct, Bela Whipple Jenks' (1849-1930) mother was not Hester, but, it was also not Mary, Jessie Lane Jenk's second wife. Bela's mother was May Jane Minor (1826-1854). She had three boys, Bela , Robert (1851), and Ben (1852). Robert and Ben died as infants. I have created May Jane Minor and corrected Bela's Mothers reference. Thank you for pointing this out.

This is my great Grandfather! My father idolized his grandpa. He died when my dad was 14 years pld of a heart attack. We have the picture frame that lights up a winding road and fall trees that he always lit at christmas in our living room! I could not remember my nana's maiden name. Thank you!
