George, a retired farmer, passed away in 1922, following a fall down the cellar causing a fractured skull.

He died on 15 December 1922, in Minto, Wellington, Ontario, Canada, at the age of 90, and was buried in Ayton, West Grey, Grey, Ontario, Canada.^[8]
