Biography

Hannah was born in June 1861.^[1]

She married John Gray in Rathmines Dublin, Aug 1894.^[2][3]

In the 1901 census of Ireland^[4] she is living at Rathmines with her husband John and her husband's maiden aunt Hannah Daish.

By 1911 she and her husband John are living at 60 The Drive, Hove, Sussex in England.^[5] The head of the household where they are living is her husband John's cousin, Blanch Brinkworth, a widow aged 36 who is living on private means and was born in Yorkshire.

Research Notes

Both the Daish and Gray families seem to have anounced family events in the Belfast Newsletter. Hannah's birth was noted so:-

Daish - June 25, at kingstown, the wife of Walter Daish, Esq., R.N., of a daughter.

Although some 'Ancestry' family tree's show her marriage to a John Dempsey with a child Catherine, I feel this is incorrect, there being no supporting evidence to show an additional marriage to Dempsey or the birth of any children to John and Hannah
