Ozias Daigneau was born on 1 Feb 1864 and was baptized the next day in Saint-Joachim parish in Châteauguay. He was the son of Paul Daignaux, a farmer, and his wife Marie Dugas of this parish. Godparents at Ozias' baptism wereJoseph Gendron and Célanire Faubert. At age 28 Ozias, a doctor, married Marie Anne Faubert on 24 May 1892 in Sainte-Famille parish in Boucherville, Chambly, Québec. There was at least one child born into this marriage. Ozias died at age 35 in St. Albans, Franklin, Vermont.
