Biography

Giuseppa Cutrera is born and baptized Josepham on 3 May 1856. She is the daughter of Calogero Cutrera and Maria Quaglino. Her godparents are Simon di Rao and Francisca Mangiameli, a married couple.

A month after her brother, Filippo, dies, Giuseppa marries Giuseppe Gutera, son of Matteo and Blasia Ligotino, on 15 November 1874. Giuseppa's father has died by this time and her mother is living.
