Salvatore Cutrera is a Corleone native resident, the son of Leoluca Cutrera and Lucia Marino, who married in 1809.[1] He is born 15 April 1835 and baptized three days later. His godparents are Michaelangelo and Anna Governali, a married couple.[2]
Salvatore marries Maria Carmela Gennaro, daughter of Michaelangelo Gennaro and Angela Pennino, on 24 October 1859. His father has died by this itme.[3]
Salvatore and Carmela have at least one child, Leoluca (1860), named after his paternal grandfather.
Leoluca Cutrera, the son of Salvatore Cutrera, borgese, and Carmela Gennaro, is born on 28 September 1860 in his parents' home on via Sant'Elena in Corleone.[4] He is named after his paternal grandfather.
Salvatore is a capo in the Fratuzzi, the Mafia in Corleone, by around 1889, when he wrests control from Luca Patti.[5]
Leoluca marries at least twice, first to Giuseppa Colletti, on 28 October 1884.[6]
Leoluca remarries to Maria Comparetto on 19 November 1893.[7]
In 1893, when Bernardino Verro is inducted, Giuseppe Battaglia is the boss.
