John was a Friend (Quaker)
John was the son of Edmund and Isabel Cutler, and was born in 1684 in England. He was baptised 11 May 1684 in Slaidburn, Yorkshire, England[1]
Arrived aboard Rebecca along with his brother's family on October 31, 1685. [2]
He married Margery (Hayhurst) Cutler in the Middletown (later Langhorne) Meetinghouse in a Quaker ceremony on 17 June 1703. [3]
Tradition says, walked three times from Stroudsburg, PA to Fallsington, a distance of sixty miles in twelve hours, to visit Margery Hayhurst. During the third visit they were married. [4]
A certificate of removal was received from the Settle Monthly Meeting and recorded by the Middletown Monthly Meeting, for John and Edmund Cutler, stating they were brothers.[7]https://www.ancestry.com/sharing/21694212?h=bd5d0d
