Married Maud Marion Province on 24 March 1909 in Queensland, Australia and children if any, are unknown.
As R. G. Curtis he was named next of kin [NOK] on the World War One army record of Vincent Curtis.
Death occurred on 29 May 1955 in Bundaberg General Hospital, and he was cremated at Mt. Thomson, Brisbane and ashes placed with his in-laws.
