1897 DEATH AND BURIAL
Charlie L Cullins, 19, died of typhoid fever on 20 September 1897 at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lon Wilbur, in West Union, Iowa. [5]Funeral services were at the United Brethran church, burial in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, West Union, Fayette County, Iowa. [1][6]
His death occurred two weeks before the death of his sister Hattie. They share the same gravestone.
The attached photos show the large Cullins headstone with an inscription for Hattie and Charles Cullins who died while their parents, George and Aby Cullins, were still living.
