Since then, I have examined a dozen more DNA matches and finally one has pointed me in the direction of a Mathias Cramer (Krymer) and Susan Aller. There's no documentation of their children other than a census from 1830. No one has connected anyone to their children and there's a male born in his age bracket. I have moved Newton there and I believe I have the older brother identified as well. This placement also explains why I match to others descending from Aller and Emery and Gerhart. I am hoping I found his family. Sorry if that association messed you up. It ended up being there longer than I had anticipated. I was trying to see if any DNA folks turned up through wikitree. However it seems that GEDmatch doesn't go that far back in time. At least it doesn't for matches I know are correct that are that far back.
