I'm interested right now in my Mom's side of the family, Smith's, Selman's, Beacham's. They were from Mississippi, Copia County and others. I have a picture of a man who may have been my mom's grandfather or great grandfather. I would like to find out exactly who this man was in the photo. My mom wrote quite a few books on her genealogy and also my father's side too. They were Courser's. This photo is not in any of her books. She passed away on 12-25-2019.
Hi John, I need help with an ex-spouse. Mine actually. I was married to my sons father, Mark Uebele but we divorced. I am currently married to James Newman Sr (no middle name). Is Mark supposed to show as an ex-spouse? But then how do I add James? I started to add him so I'm not sure if he is out there or not if I didn't click on save.
I haven't signed in the Honor Code because I don't understand all of the exact ways of adding sources etc. I can't work on this very often as my husband Jim, has dementia. So I'm afraid if I sign the Honor Code, then I can't work on it for quite awhile, I may forget all about it.
I'm sorry if this is confusing.
Thank you,
Candice Newman

On your profile, you can hit the Edit button, then go to the Add Spouse on the right side. You can add as many spouses as necessary. Here is a link that may help you with that. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Editing_Marriages As far as sourcing, this help page might be helpful. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources_Style_Guide
Signing the Honor Code will really open WikiTree up for you (plus there will be no ads).
The G2G forum is also a great place to ask for help and advice. The people in there are very knowledgeable and helpful.
I hope this helps you out!
