Austin, son of Richard Coulter & Sarah, was baptised on 7 December 1834 in Wateringbury, Kent, England.[1]
In the 1841 census Austen (age 6) was in Nettlestead, Kent, England.[2]
In the 1851 census Austin (age 16), Agr Lab, was the unmarried son of Richard Coulter in Near The Green, Nettlestead, Kent, England.[3]
He and his family do not seem to be mentioned in FamilySearch's given census records for England and Wales 1861.
In the 1871 census Austen (age 36), Butcher And Gardener, was the married head of household in Streatham, Surrey, England.[4]
In the 1881 census Austin (age 46), Gardner & Pork Butcher, was the married head of household on Leigham Lane, Streatham, London, Surrey, England.[5]
In the 1891 census Austin (age 55), Gardner Domestic, was the married head of household in Streatham, London, England.[6]
In the 1901 census Austen (age 66), Jobbing Gardener, was the married head of household in Streatham, London, England.[7]
In the 1911 census Austin (age 75), Jobber Gardner, was the widowed head of household in Wandsworth, London, England.[8]
Austin's death (age 81) was registered in the Oct-Nov-Dec quarter of 1914 in the Wandsworth district.[9]
