Biography

Catherine Coulter (married name Rennick) was born around 1825 or 1829, in Ireland, the daughter of Francis Coulter.^[1][2]

She married William Henry Rennick on 22 November 1854 at Kinawley, County Fermanagh, Ireland.^[1][2] Their eldest children were born before they migrated to Australia:^[3][4]

• Margaret Jane Rennick (1856?–1877)^[5]
• May Joan Rennick (1858?–)^[4]
• Francis Henry Rennick (1858?–1926)^[4]

Catherine and William and their three youngest children migrated to Australia as unassisted passengers, departing from England and arriving in Victoria in January 1859 on board the 'Great Britain' when Catherine was aged 30.^[4] Catherine and William's children born in Victoria were:

• William Robert Rennick (1859–1938)^[6]
• Barbara Annie Rennick (1861–1938)^[7]
