Biography

Lancelot was born in Tipperary the son of Johanna "Hannah" and timothy Costello.

Conviction

He was convicted in 1836 of Manslaughter, and transported to Australia for the term of his natural life, arriving in 1837 aboard the St Vincent. His physical description was 'dark/ruddy' with brown hair and dark hazel eyes, ^[1]

he married Hanorah (Young) Costello (1811-1902) in Victoria in 1852
