Benjamin was born to Benjamin and Abigail Stevenson Cornell in Scarsdale on 23 August 1761.^[1]

Benjamin married, first, Alice Sutton on 19 Mar 1783.^[2]

Benjamin married, secondly, Parmelia Farrington on 9 May 1804

Benjamin received, under his father's will, was promised half of his father's lands and other property once he came of age in 1782 and his mother passed away
