There is another Jan Cornelisz Bout residing in nearby Leiden during the same period.
They are not the same individual, and there is no evidence indicating they are even related.
Any reference to a JC Bout after 1579 almost certainly pertains to this other individual.
There is also a JC Bont(gen), and this other JC Bout and JC Bont appear to be the same person, deceased by 1601.

For these reasons, caution should also be exercised with information on a J.C. Bout, particularly if it relates to Leiden not Warmond.

BIOGRAPHY
Jan Cornelisz. was born about 1530 to Cornelis "Neel" Bouwensz and Marijtgen Jansdr.
He was one of six children, with brothers Jacob, Willem, Cornelis, Crijn and Foijt.
He married Marie Jansdr, with whom he had four children, all daughters: Cunera/Cuneertgen, Geertgen, Marie (Jonge Marri), and Meynsgen/Meijnsgen.
As of 1572, he was a resident of Warmond, and owned a homestead and other property in the Sweylant (Zweijlandt) portion of Lagelandt.
He died between 1572 and 1579.
(He was certainly no longer alive when his mother died in 1579.)

Bout's wife Marie Jansdr. was the daughter of Jan Buitendijck, the patriarch of one of the families documented by Marcel Kusse.

Annetgen Engelsdr Connick was the granddaughter of Jan Cornelisz Bout.
In turn, she was the wife of Jan Gerritsz Huijgensz, and the mother of Jan Jansz Bout, the patriarch of the Fuijtense branch of the van Leeuwen family that resided in Warmond and later in Aalsmeer.

In het morgenboek van Warmond van 1572 wordt Jan Cornelisz. Bout in het Lageland genoemd met een hofstede van 1 morgen 2 hond en met 4 hond bruikland.

From these records, it seems quite clear that Marie Jansdr acquired direct control over these more extensive property interests after the death of her father, her mother, and her husband.

Jan Cornelisz. Bout erkent voor baljuw-schout en schepenen van Warmondt verkocht te hebben aan de zuster en de gemeene conventualen van de Elftduysent maechden aldaar eene rent van 3 Carolus gulden van 40 groot Vlaamsch, losbaar met 50 gulden en verzerkerd op 1.5 morgen en 1.5 hond weiland aan de Zijl aldaar.
