Biography
Théophile Cormier was born on 3 Aug 1850 and baptized the same day in Bouctouche, New Brunswick, the son of Cyprien Cormier and Olive Girouard.[1] His godparents were Joseph Girouard and Justine LeBlanc.
Théophile married Marguerite Després on 12 Jul 1873 in Cocagne.[2][3]
In the 1891 census Theophilus, age 41, was in Moncton, Westmorland, New Brunswick.[4]
In the 1900 census Thopilis, age 51, was the married head of household in Waltham, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[5] His date of birth was given as August 1849.
In the 1910 census Theopolis, age 56, was the married head of household in Waltham Ward 3, Middlesex, Massachusetts.[6]
Theophile, age 63, married for a second time to Celina Babineau, age 47, widow of the late Cajetan Vautour, on 23 Feb 1914 in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick.[7] The marriage recorded indicated he had been a resident a Waltham but was now a resident of Grande-Digue.
He died on 29 Aug 1937 in Shediac Bridge, aged 87.[8]
