Abigail Cooley was born on November 17, 1746, in Springfield, Massachusetts, daughter of Jacob Cooley and Abigail Chapin. She married Samuel Morgan on November 27, 1766 at the First Church there. They had nine children in 19 years. [1] She died on March 22, 1819, in her hometown, at the age of 72. [2]
