Scott Graeme Cook was born on Saturday, 17th February, 1962 at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Battery Point, Hobart. He was the first child of 4 to Graeme Edwin Cook & Margaret Jones.
Scott went to school at Bowen Road Primary before heading to New Town High School. Scott enjoyed gardening as well, following in his father's footsteps.
Later in life Scott got involved with The Mission to Seafarers in Hobart where he helped out firstly as a volunteer and then as a part time employer. In 1998 he was assisting one of two Russian tall ships in a regatta and earnt himself a place on the ship as it sailed back to Vladivostok in Russia.
In 2006 Scott moved to Melbourne where he still works as a Seafarer Welfare Officer at the Stella Maris Seafarers Centre, providing spiritual, materialistic and cultural assistance to seafarers from all over the world.
Scott enjoys working on the family tree, gardening, reading, and learning about different cultures. He has travelled to Russia, Korea, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Bratislava.
