Birth and Early Life

Sarah Jane Cook was born on 15 February 1848 in Platte County, Missouri, United States to John Cook (about 1830-after 1848) and Mary Ann Henderson.

Marriage and Family

She married at about 16 years old to Munsel-5|Samuel Munsel]] (1836-1911) [1] and has 9 children with him.

  2. Joseph Edward Munsel was born on 16 February 1867 in Leavenworth, Leavenworth, Kansas, United States. He married Fannie Bell Smith in July 1893 in Nemaha, Nemaha, Kansas. Joseph died on 28 April 1949 in Sabetha, Nemaha, Kansas, United States.
  3. Horace Greeley Munsel was born on 1 March 1869 in Nemaha, Nemaha, Kansas, United States. He married Mary Margaret Almendinger on 25 September 1892 in Nemaha County, Kansas. Horace died on 29 April 1945 in Spokane, Spokane, Washington, United States.
  4. Albert Munsel was born in March 1870 in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas, United States. He married Winnifred N. Unknown (1873-1930) between March 1905 and 1910. It was her 2nd marriage. Albert died on 25 April 1930 probably in Missouri.

  9. Samuel Dwayne Munsel was born on 2 October 1881 in Nemaha County, Kansas, United States. He married Lura Ellen Wathen (1887-1968) on 28 December 1904 in Nemaha County, Kansas. Samuel died on 26 January 1963 in Goff, Nemaha, Kansas, United States.

Death and Burial
