Research Notes

I'm wondering if the unit he served with is correct according to what it says in the above article and on FG. The spouse in the pension index says: Amanda J Cook and there is also a marriage record saying Amanda F Osborn.^[5][6] Are Phebe Samanthia Osborn and "Amanda" one and the same or conflated?
Found another Christopher C Cook, (Corp, Co H, 28th Iowa Infantry) but no widow listed.^[7]
