Ronald was born in 1899. He was a small business owner much of his life, but is listed as working as a civil engineer with Leeds City Council after the Great War. Ron enlisted in the British Army in 1914 at the age of 15. He fought in many of the major battles in France in World War 1. He lived in Leeds, Harrogate, Scarborough ,London, Malta and India. In 1905 he was living with his family in Belfast, Ireland. He had 3 children, He is buried in a London Cemetery
