Biography

John Coningsby was the son of Thomas Coningsby and Theophania Allmayne. He married Alicia Stoner circa 1324.^[1][2][3]

The church of Morton Bagot had apparently been granted to the canons of Kenilworth, who were presenting to it from 1293 to 1359 and again in 1412 and 1432, though in 1333 John de Coningsby disputed their right to do so. In 1365 William son of John Conyngesby of Morton Manor in Morton Bagot occurs in connexion with lands in Ullenhall.^[4]
