Hi Carol,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Carol,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Thank you Carol for your comment about me living on my own until I met my "real husband"! Tis true, this one is my Real Husband, so much so, I married him twice!

Smiles, Cindy

I am waiting on the Pre 1500's cert at which point I would be able to cont. my records back on my tree. I appreciate all the help I have rec. so far and hope to cont. building. I have several sign. ties in all my trees that I hope to share. I have spent a considerable amount of time collecting info. and hope to compare my info with the info here. Thanks for the assistance that I have rec. and hope to receive

Hi Carol, I just proposed merges for a number of duplicate profiles you created. Some of them were duplicates of ones that were already on WikiTree, some were duplicates of profiles you had recently created on WikiTree yourself. Please look around a bit here before you create a new profile to be sure there isn't already one here. It's really important to have only one profile for each person on WikiTree. Thanks!

Hi Carol

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made 75 contributions to Wikitree, thank you! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key!

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Here is a list of our WikiTree projects you might like to check out: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects

Why don't you also stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's already a name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus. They would be happy to get you started.

Dorothy, Volunteer Coordinator.

Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community. Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person. It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree. Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code. This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community. We have many friendly members, feel free to ask if you have any questions.
