Biography

Janet “Jessie” Colville was born in 1841. She was the daughter of John Colville and Jean Galbraith. ^[1][2]

She married Charles Colville Greenlees in London in 1868. ^[3]

They lived in Campbeltown where Charles was town provost and managing director of the Dalaruan Distillery. ^[4]

Jessie passed away in 1930. ^[5][6]

Consanguinity

Charles and Jessie are second cousins. Their great grandfather is Archibald Colville of Peninver and Drumgarve.
