Biography

Caroline was born in 1861^[1] in Bellasize or Gilberdyke, Yorkshire, England. In 1871 she lived with her mother, Ann Rachel Collinson, in Gilberdyke.^[2]

At the time of the 1881 census, Caroline worked as a domestic servant for the Sugden family in Howden, Yorkshire.^[3]

She married William Anson in Eastrington in 1887.^[4][5] In 1891 the family lived in Asselby, Yorkshire, where William was a farm servant.^[6]

Caroline died in 1899 at the age of 38.^[7] She was buried in Howden.^[8]
