Biography

Mariano Colletto is a Corleone native resident, the son of Filippo Colletto and Anna Provenzano, who married in 1766. He is named after his paternal grandfather.

Mariano marries Antonina Glaviano, daughter of Domenico Graviano and Leoluchina Papania, on 3 February 1793. His father has died by this time.^[1]

Mariano and Antonina have at least four children: Filippo (c. 1795), Domenico (c. 1798), Bernardo (c. 1801), and Leoluchina (c. 1817).

Filippo is named after his paternal grandfather.

Domenico is named after his maternal grandfather.

Leoluchina is named after her maternal grandmother.

Bernardo marries Bernarda Streva on 26 November 1821.^[2]

Leoluchina marries Vincenzo Morello on 15 October 1837. Mariano has died by this time.^[3]

Filippo marries Paola Ferraro on 8 October 1838. Consanguinity is detected and a dispensation obtained for this marriage.^[4]

Domenico marries Rosa di Benedetto on 19 November 1843.^[5]

Death

Mariano dies at the reported age of 60 in March 1832 in Corleone after receiving last rites. He is survived by his wife, Antonina.^[6]
