Biography

His parents were George and Eleanor Colk who were living at 137a Richardson St, Boulder when he enlisted.

He served in WWI with the 10th Light Horse Regiment. 4th Reinforcements, B Squadron. S/N 786. He enlisted on 4/1/1915 age 37 years 8 months. He was a Miner living in Boulder.

He received a gunshot wound and fractured skull on 29/9/1915. He died of the wounds two days later. He most likely was wounded during the Battle for Hill 60 21/9/1915 - 29/9/1915.
