Biography
Emma Colgan was born on March 17, 1820[1] in Missouri[2] to Robert Colgan and Maria Rogers.
On July 10, 1845, Emma married Alfred Sandford in St. Louis, Missouri.[3]
According to the 1860 census, Emma lived with Alfred in Jefferson City, Missouri.[2]
Alfred died in 1863.
On December 18, 1884, Emma married Tennessee Mathews in Jefferson City, Missouri.[4]
Emma died on October 10, 1886. She is buried in the Woodland-Old City Cemetery in Jefferson City, Missouri.[1]
