I'm working on several lines of my Family Tree. The Paternal line of my maternal great-grandmother, which is Pickard. I don't personally know any distant cousins there. I do know many cousins and 2nd cousins etc on my maternal grandmother's side, so that is more fun to work on. But MUCH of my time is spent on people that aren't really biological relatives of MINE, they are my children's ancestor's on their father's side. The reason this is important and fun is they have an extensive genealogy, books, history etc. They are supposedly related to Aaron Burr, and also, Princess Diana and Winston Churchill. Not sure if I'll ever get far enough to find any of those connections. But my daughter has done the Ancestry DNA test and I'm hoping that helps.

Biography

When Dixie Caroline Cole was born on October 24, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, her father, John, was 53, and her mother, Molly, was 36. She was named after her maternal great-grandmother (Dixie Lena Pickard Oct 24 1882) and born on her birthday. She married Charles Burr Spencer, III on June 01, 1989. She was step-mother to his daughter Bailey Ann Spencer and son Charles Burr Spencer, IV. Together, they had a daughter Susan Renee Spencer (Johnson) b. 07-05-1990 and a son David "Cole" Spencer b12-11-1991. They divorced in 2000. Dixie married Andrew Eugene Lowen 02-12-2005, they divorced in 2007 with no children. Her daughter Kami Leigh Sartor was born 01-24-2008, whose father is Brian Lee Sartor. On 04-19-2014 she married Curtis Wayne Randall. She has two half-sisters.
