Research Notes
Ebenezer appears as head of household at Warren in the 1774 Census of Rhode Island[2]. His household distribution and inferred attributions are
two white males over 16: Ebenezer and son Ebenezer
two white males under 16: son Benjamin and unknown
two white females over 16: Prudence and daughter Prudence
two white females under 16: daughters Abigail and Roby
one black female over 16: unknown
Sons Edward and Curtis appear as heads of their own households. The older daughters had probably either married or passed away by the census, but it would be good to confirm this with future research.
Ebenezer appears again at Warren in the 1777 military census of Rhode Island, age 60+.[3] Immediately below him are listed his sons Ebenezer and Benjamin.
