Richard Cole served with Bristol County Militia, Massachusetts Militia during the American Revolution.
Richard was born in 1750. He was the son of Hugh Cole and Jane Sisson. When Richard Cole was born in 1750 in Swansea, Massachusetts, his father, Hugh, was 44 and his mother, Jane, was 38. He married Abigail Walker and they had six children together. He then married Patience Martin on September 5, 1779. He died on February 25, 1841, in Herkimer, New York, at the impressive age of 91, and was buried in Warren, Rhode Island.
