Clara was born in 1850. Clara Cohen was the daughter of Aaron N. Cohen and Fanny.[1][2][3][4]
Asher Phillips and Clara Cohen were married October 26, 1870, in Manhattan, New York.[3][4] They lived at 209 Albany Street in New York in 1880, and Asher was an importer of dry goods.[5] They lived in Brooklyn in 1900,.[6] but also had a home in midtown Manhattan at 23 East 48th Street. They were robbed that year of over $2000 of jewelry and goods that were later traced by the police.[7]
Mrs. Phillips served on the board of the Training School for Nurses.[8]
Clara Phillips died December 10, 1915, in Manhattan, New York, USA. She was cremated at Fresh Pond Crematory.[9]
